1940's/1920's Dance Band based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and providing services across the UK
With a library of more than 3,000 charts, Ashby Big Band brings the golden age of music to life—spanning 1940s swing standards, 1950s rock ’n’ roll, and pop favourites from the 60s through the 80s. Over the years, this vintage orchestra has performed at hundreds of private functions, public concerts, and dances, delighting audiences across Derbyshire, Wales, Nottingham, and Yorkshire with a variety of entertaining programmes. Featuring two outstanding vocalists, sixteen gifted musicians, and a roster of professional back‑up players, the band delivers an unforgettable sound that keeps every event swinging.
